We wanted to provide some background on how we ended up here. I have had a huge passion for gardening and houseplants for many years. I have found some peace doing this as a hobby and as a way to deal with my postpartum journey and recovery. I wanted to somehow share this with other parents but was not quite sure how. Which then led to the thought of my own struggles with postpartum. The lack of help, time, and attention are all important parts of PP recovery and many times not very prioritized. In fact, most of the attention is entirely on the baby. So we wanted to find a nice, sweet and subtle way to just brighten a parent’s day. What would be a beautiful and fun gift that mom, dad or any parenting person could receive that is entirely for themselves? Then, my mind went back to plants, because I just love them so much and they bring me so much tranquility and light, even on some of my worst days. So, what better way than to do so through literally gifting this to another parent? And that thought was the spark that ignited the flame that is now our beautiful shop. Our main focus of these gift boxes are our succulents. Why succulents? Well, for starters they are SO easy to take care of. Secondly, they are so beautiful. They are strong and yet delicate all at the same time, just like us parents! They are just the perfect gift. After settling on succulents, we wanted to add some other items that could be useful on a day to day basis. So we expanded the boxes to include our beautiful mugs, journals, and candles, among other things. As we grow, we will include more items and more bundles. These boxes are for anyone; from your best friend, to your sister, or your spouse. You don’t have to be a parent to get one, but parents and parenting people were our inspiration and continue to be. As you enjoy these gift boxes, just know that they were put together with love and compassion and we thank you for supporting us!
